Fees
Unit Trust
There are fees associated with investing in unit trusts. The first is the entry fee which is typically between 5 - 6% (Note EQUITY reduces the entry fee to 2.5%).
The other fees are Management fees which cover the administration expenses in running a unit trust such as marketing, salaries etc. Fees for these services typically vary between 1.5 - 2%.
The company does not formally manage portfolios, and therefore no annual fee or other charge is taken out of the portfolio. We do, however, offer a custodial and portfolio management service if required, especially by older or offshore clients.
Share Purchases
Initially complete a Sharebroking
Account Application form and forward to EQUITY. Once the account
is opened you can phone EQUITY for price quotes and purchase orders.
You will receive a Contract Note (account for payment) and payment
should be made by return mail, instructions come with the account.
Selling Shares
Contact EQUITY to give selling instructions. You will need to be able to supply correct name, FIN and Holder numbers along with share particulars.
Bonds, Capital Notes and Property Units traded on the Secondary Market
Contact EQUITY for price quotes
and purchase orders. You will receive a Contract Note for payment
which should be made by return mail as per instructions. If you have
